University of Newcastle Engineering Scholarships
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
The University of Newcastle’s Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment is delighted to announce the expansion of its international student scholarships program.
Please share these exciting additions with prospective students. The scholarships will be available from Semester 1 and Trimester 1, 2018.
Any applicant who already holds an offer for a relevant UON program will be assessed regarding these scholarships. We will be in touch to let you know of any successful outcomes.

| GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP
Up to $165,000 total.
Full fee waiver undergraduate scholarship for up to five years duration. Awarded to the top commencing international student in each semester (one only per semester) based on score in high school qualification.
Applicable for these programs: · Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) all streams (and combined degrees) · Bachelor of Design (Architecture) · Bachelor of Information Technology (and combined degrees) · Bachelor of Computer Science (and combined degrees) · Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) (Honours) |

| INTERNATIONAL HIGH ACHIEVERS UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
$6,000 per year for up to 4 years.
Automatically awarded to students with an ATAR equivalent of 85+ (high school leavers) or 94+ (all other applicants). Unlimited.
Applicable for these programs: · Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) all streams (and combined degrees) · Bachelor of Design (Architecture) · Bachelor of Information Technology (and combined degrees) · Bachelor of Computer Science (and combined degrees) · Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) (Honours) All eligible students will be automatically assessed – no separate application required. |

| ARCHITECTURE AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT POSTGRADUATE COURSEWORK SCHOLARSHIP
Up to $6,000 per year for up to 2 years.
Automatically awarded to students. GPA 6 = $6,000 per year, GPA 5.5 = $4,000 per year, GPA 5.0 = $2,000 per year. Unlimited.
Applicable for these programs: · Master of Architecture · Graduate Certificate of Disaster Risk Reduction · Master of Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development All eligible students will be automatically assessed – no separate application required. |

| ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY POSTGRADUATE COURSEWORK SCHOLARSHIP
Up to $6,000 per year for up to 2 years.
Automatically awarded to students. GPA 5.5 = $6,000 per year, GPA 5.0 = $4,000 per year, GPA 4.5 = $2,000 per year. Unlimited.
Applicable for these programs: · Master of Professional Engineering all streams · Graduate Certificate of Information Technology · Master of Information Technology · Master of Engineering Management All eligible students will be automatically assessed – no separate application required. |

| INTERNATIONAL ALUMNI AND FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP
$1,000 per year for up to 5 years.
Available to all returning alumni and close family members of current students or alumni. Unlimited and applicable for all programs mentioned above.
